Papers of W.H.H. Murray, 1887-1889.

The papers contain a signed autograph quotation from "John Norton's Christmas," and autographs by Bill Nye and James Whitcomb Riley (with a brief verse quotation). There is also a pamphlet, "A brief biography of William Henry Harrison Murray," written by his daughter and manager F.M. Murray as a circular to advertise Murray's lecture "The daylight land." A letter to an unidentified recipient discusses the publication of "Mamelons," "Ungava," "The Christmas story," and "Daylight land," and mentions that his essay "The Christmas story" has been read publicly over four hundred times.
